Head Chorister, Alana Bond, has handed her yellow ribbon to her sister, Holly, who takes over as our new Head Chorister. Alana has done very well in her A-level examinations and, after a gap year, is off to Swansea University next year. During her gap year, Alana, will be undertaking voluntary work supporting vulnerable women, initially leaving to work in India for two months, before returning home for Christmas. Holly is a very sensible, talented, loyal and lovely young lady who will take on her new role with relish, knowing that she has her sister’s super example to follow. I am in no doubt that Holly will do well in her new role; she is an excellent musician who has the respect of the other girls and is very popular and loved by the adults and girls in the choir. We wish Alana all the very best for her gap year, thanking her so much for the way in which she carried out her role as Head Chorister as she was such an excellent role model for the younger girls. I have no doubt that Holly will be equally as successful in the role and look forward to the coming years whilst Holly is in the choir before she, too, goes off to University. Well done and good luck both of you. Holly will be ably supported by our two Head Girls, Rhianwen and Freya. They will make a great senior team!
